This policy explains what information we collect when you visit rowboatmedia.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Rowboat Media LLC is a Nevada limited liability company registered to do business in Idaho. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means Rowboat Media LLC. When it says “you,” it means you, the visitor.
Information you provide to us
You may choose to give us information directly, such as:
- Booking a call. When you schedule a call through our site, the scheduling widget is provided by Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email address, and any details you enter when booking. Calendly processes this information under its own privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy.
- Contacting us. If you email us or submit information through a form on this site, we collect what you send: typically your name, email address, and your message.
We use this information to respond to you, schedule and conduct calls, and provide services you request. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand site traffic. It is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track you across websites or across days. It records anonymous, aggregated information such as pages viewed, referring site, country, and device type. It cannot identify you personally.
Our site is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
The embedded Calendly scheduling widget may set its own functional cookies to make booking work. These come from Calendly, not from us, and are governed by Calendly’s cookie policy.
Advertising (not currently active)
We do not currently run retargeting or interest-based advertising. If we do in the future, we may use advertising cookies or pixels (such as those provided by Google or Meta) to show you relevant ads on other sites. If that happens, we will update this policy, provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, and honor opt-out requests, including Global Privacy Control browser signals.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us operate:
- Calendly (scheduling)
- Vercel (hosting and analytics)
- Google Workspace (email and correspondence)
These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep information
We keep correspondence and booking information for as long as we have a business reason to, such as an ongoing or prospective client relationship, and then delete it. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct it
- Delete it

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of information collected and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. The categories we collect are identifiers (name, email) and internet activity (anonymous analytics). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes, such as introducing advertising, will be noted clearly.
