Predictable pricing. We work hard to do the discovery up front so we can offer you a solid quote based on our estimate of the hours involved. No surprises. If we find the project is straying out of scope, we’ll let you know and provide a quote for the extra work. The price never goes up without your buy-in BEFORE the work is done. For the semi-custom projects, we have a LOT of flexibility in terms of colors, typefaces, what gets included and prioritized, etc. If you need something that isn’t QUITE covered? We’ll get you a quote for the incremental cost before doing the additional work.

An integrated, fully functional blog with EVERY website. Lots of companies charge extra for this one. We don’t. Even if you don’t think you’ll be blogging right away, we go ahead and make sure it’s ready to go at the flip of a switch.

At least 4 page templates: We’ll design layouts for your home page, inside pages, main blog page, and individual blog post pages. These templates are usually all you need, whether you are publishing 10 or 10,000 pages. If your project needs additional layouts, they’ll be enumerated in your proposal.

Stock photography and images to drive home your message and add visual life to your site. We include the cost of any we use in your basic page templates in your quote, and we find them for you.

A team of fanatics to facilitate your project every step of the way. Our Creative Director holds your hand through the beginning stages, and your Designer and Developer give the project the white-glove treatment before it gets passed on to your Project Manager, who interfaces with you on the last little bits involved in easing your new website into the world.

A custom email contact form. We use the power of Gravity Forms to create attractive email contact forms to your exact specifications – from the simple to the complex. Never lose a client contact email again – if you’re wondering if they’re disappearing into outer space, just check your Dashboard to see a listing of all email inquiries.

Thoughtful onsite Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We build your site so that the heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) make sense and sends clear signals to the search robots. We submit XML sitemaps to Google, Yahoo, and Bing every time you update your website. We include Schema.org markup and KML file integration to help with Google local search. And, we create clean, fast-running code so that your site load times keep users engaged and send positive signals to Google.

Embedded Google Maps. Some companies charge extra for this, like it’s rocket science. Puhleeze.

Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos. If you’ve got an introductory or product demo video you’d like us to include in your site design, no problem – we’ll build it in however you like.

Dashboard-Centric Coding. While our developers would love to hard-code most of your design elements and content because it makes life easier for THEM, we don’t care. We want to make life easy for YOU. Therefore, whenever possible, we make it so you can edit your images and text right from inside the WordPress Dashboard – no code jockeying or FTP cursing required. Or, at least, very little. That’s what WebMistress is for.

Google Analytics Integration. Every single website we build is set up to track your traffic and visitor statistics with Google Analytics.

Social sharing buttons on every blog post. Just like the big news websites, we make it easy for readers to Tweet, Like, and LinkedIn your content.
